PARADISE BLUE is comprised of three veteran musicians - Doug Mullinax: lead vocals and guitars, Charles Moses: bass guitar and vocals, Russ Lofland: drums and percussion. The members are originally from Japan, South Carolina and Louisiana. Since joining together in Greenville SC, the band has been a featured attraction at numerous Festivals and Charity events in the states of NC, SC, and GA. DOUG MULLINAX is the lead vocalist, guitar player, and major songwriter, with extensive experience in performing live and in studio recording. In a previous band, he opened for big name acts such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joan Jett, and .38 Special, and produced a music video that debuted on MTV. CHARLES MOSES is the bass guitarist, songwriter, and also does backing vocals. His locking in on a groove with the rock solid drumming, form the foundation for Paradise Blue's sound. He was a finalist for South Carolina "Songwriter of the Year". RUSS LOFLAND is the drummer and percussionist, and was raised in a family that exposed him to the best Pop & Rock artists at an early age. He spent many years mastering his skills in several bands, and with his drive and enthusiasm on the drums, he is a great addition for the unique sound of Paradise Blue. Major influences of Paradise Blue are: Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush, Tinsley Ellis, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Golden Earring.
