Franky B. Boy has been a blues addict for over years and sung in several bands. His father wrote his own songs and was making music, so Frank began writing music also when he was very young. The writing of his own songs and music was going to the background when he was only singing in several bands. But when he was in Portugal a couple of years ago and was asked to make music for an audience using only his guitar, his singing and bluesharp, he went back to his roots, making his own songs which are particularly idiosyncratic. In Portugal he got an invitation from Mike Myers to record a number of his own songs in the studio in Silves what ended up in a mini-cd titled "True Originals", which was released in 2012 as a sort of experiment to find out if the audience liked his songs. And they did. The bluesbands in which Franky B. Boy was singing at that time could not give him the things he wanted to do and to create a combination of blues and his own songs he started a bluesduo. With this bluesduo he is still performing nowadays. So he thought now is the time to make a whole cd. For this new album Frank invited an couple of musicians he new through the years. These musicians give this album an extra atmosphere. On the other hand this album has some tracks which are really very sober. According to Frank you can see this album as a symbiosis between singer song writer meets a touch of blues and soul.
