These are out takes from some of my earliest studio recordings at Joe Fleming's Hozeum studio with Tommy Goldsmith & Dave Olney. Much of this straight ahead readings from Tom's raw bone magazine published the mid-80's to early 90's, celebrated and critically acclaimed the time though had a hard edge politically and sexually charged challenging damn nearly every possibility out there.

Some inspired Charles Bukowski, some Rimbaud, so many others snatches here and there I never studied much but grabbed at everything as it went by.

The music and the poetry eventually became one and same.

Many of these poems eventually found a home in THE WORLD ACCORDING TO WHISKEY published by Court Street Press in Montgomery AL in 2003
