Curio was introduced to music while his mother was stationed in Germany. Throughout his young years his mother saw his natural ability to dance therefore leading him to lessons in modern dance. The young Curio easily embraced street dance adding his own style to the new phenomenons that had risen like the Electric Slide, Type Writer, Moon Walk, and street dancing. Curio then began writing also while he was young which lead him to when scholarships and The Famous Poet Society Awards down the line. Through church Curio realized that he wanted to sing and began writing poetry/songs which has given him the opportunity to write for other artists as well as put out 4 compact discs of his own music, one of them being a double-disc. Curio attended Spring Arbor College taking communications as his major. This led him to work with reel to reel machines, record, host on the radio, and do jingles. Curio decided the college didn't offer what he was initially looking for so he didn't return for the second year. Curio still pursued his music which allowed him to open up for Twista, Amanda Perez, Fat Joe, and Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz. Curio has became a much appreciated success in his local area; nevertheless, his fans wants him to venture outside the small box and become bigger than ever. Curio has collaborated with many artists on their projects since 1996 and is venturing out to other cities that embraces his catchy hooks, spontaneous vibes, and business like conduct. As Curio would say, “get in and get out.” Still to this day Curio has taken on jobs as a producer, engineer, dance choreographer, songwriter, designer and much more. Curio is now proceeding to bigger things in his career and is looking towards the future to claim what belongs to him.
