Christian, Father, musician, and businessman Judah never imagined that his music would find its way into healing rooms. And if someone had told him ten years ago that he would be cutting a CD to guide people on a physical and spiritual journey to improved health through song, he probably would have laughed out loud. But after years of street ministry and performing in Atlanta area churches, the former bible college student discovered that his music did in fact have the power to heal and that he himself was being called by the Lord to share it. Judah’s CD “Healing Instrumentals,” released through his label Judah Music, reflects his growing interest in the science of music and his consistent belief in the power of prayer. “Music has been scientifically proven to heal the sick and when combined with prayer, it is a powerful connection to our Lord,” says Judah. Judah began his musical career in utero when his mother, an instructor at Detroit’s Trees School of Dance taught aspiring dancers the Cha-Cha and Mernegue the while she was pregnant with David, her 7th child. Trained on guitar since the age of 10, Judah also plays the mandolin, harmonica, bass, hammer dulcimer and the didgeridoo, an aboriginal wind instrument that emits low soothing drone tones. Just as the Bible tells of David, the famed harp player whose music eased the madness of King Saul, Judah Robertson’s music has been powerful force in the lives of many.
