G.SLURR has made a name for him self as a jack-of-all-trades, with his hard work and persistence. He first hit the scene in 2006 with the release Just Get iT mixtape. Followed by JGi II in 2009, he has worked with the likes of SHADY NATE, ROB LO of the MOB FIGAZ, HUNNET PROOF, DSKi, DWillZ, PLANE JANE. When he met PLZ the two instantly hit it off. Teaching each other everything they knew about music, they quickly formed a bond, and went to work on there masterpiece EL GUAPO On EL GUAPO, both G.Slurr and PLZ share production duties along with DJ WANDRA, and DSKi. SLURR’s lyrics shred the tracks. Over slapping drums and myriad of strings, brass, and synths, they bring you that classic bay slap and make it a breath-taking composition that will have your head bobbing from beginning to end. G.Slurr Artist/Producer/Designer: Born the son of Mexican field workers G.Slurr always respected the American dream. A natural born hustler. He soaked in the bays game like a sponge as he mastered the streets. coming up to the like of 2Pac, Too Short, E-40, Mac Dre, Richie Rich, The Luniz, RBL Possie, and many more bay area greats. Along with Ice Cube, NWA, Snoop Dogg, The Dog Pound, Kid Frost, and Easy-E. He later found love for the eastcoast in Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, DMX, Big Pun, Wu-Tang, Fat Joe, Noreaga, Big L. Plus all-time greats like James Brown, War, Sanatana, Brenton Woods, The Doors, Jimmy Hendricks, Tower of Power, Michael Jackson, The Stylistics, all of MoTown and really too many to name. He soon realized that music was his calling. The streets kept him tied up for a minute, but his determination would not let him give up on his dream. In early 2006 he independently released his first mixtape Just Get iT vol. 1. he followed that up in 2009 with Just Get iT vol. 2. Both mixtapes where classics. But hard times in the music industry forced Slurr to regroup. He went into hustle mode and started rebuilding Get iT Entertainments game plan. He found PLZ and formed The i.M.S.P. CREW together they started building an arsenal of BEats, and Co-Founded Get iT Entetainment, LLC in 2012. They quickly went to work on there Debut album EL GUAPO featuring the smash hit THE THUMPER produced by PLZ. With no signs of letting up 2013 should be a sign of many more things to come with two more projects scheduled for this year. Born in Honduras and being half Japanese you can say things started off a little complicated. Never the less he was playing the piano by the age five. Learning classical music. While he out shined his peers he found it boring and lost interest. He later moved to Baltimore, Ma where he first got into hiphop, but it wasnt until he moved to Oakland, Ca that he truly realized his love for the bay area rap scene. He hooked up with G.Slurr and formed The i.M.S.P. CREW shortly there after, and has been making slappers ever since. Helping Produce most of the tracks on EL GUAPO.
