Annie Enneking is a song and dance man in an open relationship with music, and makes beautiful mischief that holds some truth. She longs for temporary amnesia and all it might provide. She could be a musician, a photographer, an actress, concubine, weapons manufacturer, or a rocket scientist wearing a really cool apron from the fifties. She can appreciate the concept of the “proximity fuse” for both its ring and metaphoric pizazz, and enjoys the commitment that truly red lipstick demands. Her kinks are longing, classical Greek mythology, and goggles. Annie listens to her favorite songs over and over again, dooming them to love, and likes the smell of books, even new ones. She believes that songwriting is an act of spiritual archeology and so sifts through words to find bones of song. After a solo career as a folkie, being 1/3 of The Brawny Motherfolkers, and a rock/pop career with the band Triangle Park, Annie carries on making noise with Chadly Koppenhaver, whose penchant for Neanderthal swing fills her with glee, and Tom Penney, because good-natured bass sharks are hard to come by. She is eating chocolate pudding and listening to that one Phantogram song as she writes this, and thinks that skirts really are the way to go. Songs that last three minutes. Dances our parents did.
