Moreover, her sultry multi-octave singing style resulted following a season of unrelenting disappointment and despair. Specifically, Ava J experienced an epiphany about herself and gave birth to strengths she never knew she had. It was in this very dark place that her authenticity was illuminated. Simultaneously, she realized that assuming a posture of counterfeit was the result of living within the confines of boundaries set for her by others. To live as a counterfeit, then, is an offense to God and a stench in His nostrils. After all, Ava J is fearfully and wonderfully made in His image!
