With influences ranging from classic rock (AC/DC, Led Zeppelin) to Frank Turner and Bon Iver, The Valkyries have a uniquely eclectic sound. Our debut record 'All Bets are Off' contains a wide variety of sounds, from heavy, guitar driven rock, to chilled out acoustic anthems.

The album is a collection of songs written by the band from 2006 to the present day, with 'Kind of Man I Am' being the first song the band ever wrote.... whilst incredibly drunk on cheap beer and non-brand name vodka.

The songs explore the ideas of freedom, love, loss and drinking just a little too much...
