I started playing this to heal my soul one night and pushed the record button. After 2 1/2 years I have finaly fallen in love again and she has made me Weightless track 9. For a few dollars you get to basically read 2 years worth of my personal journal. The songs are expressions of what I went through. The style is written in a progressive blues. However his is not your traditional blues. To me the blues is not a genre ... its a lifestyle. I love the blues to much to leave it this way. I realize this might not appeal to the blues purist but it's time for some musical mayhem in the blues scene especially in the Northwest. I love the blues just the way it is but to much to leave it this way. There is nothing wrong with tradition ... that is where we start but Robert Johnson was progressive, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and SRV. If it stays still the style will go rotten and no one will want to eat of its fruit anymore.
