Rising from the still warm ashes of the recently defunct band uniSEF, False Idle is Sef's new musical endeavor that intends to carry on the 208-JCHC tradition where uniSEF left off. Like The Insyderz did with ska on their Skalleluia album, False Idle breathes new life and punk energy into songs pulled from the traditional church hymnal with their irreverently reverent versions of “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “Old Rugged Cross,” “He Lives” and others.
