Bawse Mane, known best by his stage name but born Marquis Lecounte, is an American rapper, songwriter and performing artist from the Liberty City neighborhood in Miami, FL. He is signed to Big Boy Music Group, and his latest EP Sumthin Else is available now on itunes! In 2007, Bawse opened for Lil Wayne at an arena in Ft. Myers. He soon gained recognition for his single “MIA” and was named the 2nd place winner of WEDR 99JAMZ’s “Battle Grounds Next 2 Blow” contest.
