This recording is a musical conversation between two friends, Steve Herberman and Steve Abshire. Both were influenced by the likes of Jim Hall, Herb Ellis, Joe Puma, and Joe Pass. Each has a distinct style, which both contrasts and compliments the other. Both are archtop guitarists, Steve Herberman playes a seven string, Steve Abshire a six. The CD is filled with artful interplay.
