In this new album, ecuadorian singer María Tejada proposes a personal interpretation of three musical genders from three different countries: Fado from Portugal, Tango from Argentina and Pasillo from Ecuador. The strong emotional content of each style makes possible their meeting on a single recording, prooving that music really does not care about borders.

María is backed by two fine guitarists: Horacio Valdivieso on classical and acoustic guitar, one of the most important instrumentalist from the new generation in Ecuador; and her long-time partner Donald Régnier on greek bouzouki, turkish oud, national guitar, cavaquinho and melodica. The blend of the different instruments gives a world-music flavour to the whole album, helping to reach a musical unity through the three musical styles.
