The challenge of playing so cleanly in this super-exposed setting is the most difficult format I can imagine. I am particularly impressed with the solid sense of time and the dynamics of picked and/or finger passages. I love the recorded sound of the guitar. The tune selection is very interesting. I know guitar players will love it! All decent players will see that in the final analysis it is really not enough to have good technique, equipment, and recording technique. These are important, However, it is really about paying dues and spending decades with the "monster" in your lap developing the exquisite taste needed to pull off something like this.
