The Nimbus is an electronic band from Austin, Texas; formed in late 2011 by Ritch Napierkowski and Martin McCreadie. In 2013, the duo expanded to include drummer, Gabriel Barrientes. Their first release, ‘™WORD – THE MANY WAYS OF RAINY DAYS‘, was released on February 18, 2014, followed by their first vinyl single, “Fever b/w Little White Lies (Tempted)” in September 2015. A penchant for deep synths, big beats, noisey guitar, pop hooks, and experimental sounds and glitches reminisces various electronic and rock genres including trip hop, chill wave, synthpop, electro, shoegaze, noise pop, and more.
