Trish Miller is a singer/songwriter who performs music for kids 0-99 in the Raleigh, NC area. Born in Yonkers, NY, Trish started writing and performing acoustic songs in the style of James Taylor and Joan Baez throughout HS and college. It was in becoming the mother of her three children, however, that Trish fell in love with writing children’s songs! She wrote songs to teach them to brush their teeth, learn their colors, and ease them into sleep on a sweet melody! Trish recalls her first children’s concert at a local library where her whimsical songs delighted the parents as much as their youngsters. She was hooked! A wordsmith first, Trish weaves clever lyrics like “orange you smart” in “Paper and Glue" and catchy hooks like “Hello Yellow” into her musical reveries! Trish Miller won’t patronize her listeners. A children’s song has to be as friendly to the ears of a grown up as it is to a youngster - or it’s not a good song. That might be why she got such rave reviews in the readership pole of "Carolina Parent" Magazine in 2006 when she was voted "Best Live Performer" by her fans! A regular performer at festivals and local schools in her area, Trish Miller is an artist with a sound that is sugar for the soul for the young and the young at heart.
