LILI & SUSHI EP The title being a play on words, based on the two of the song titles of the EP. "Maguro Kara Age" is a japanese tuna dish while "Päivärinta" is the last name of 80ies pop duo Lili & Sussie. The four track EP features the glitchy techno number "Maguro Kara Age" with lush chords, the bassheavy and bubbling "Päivärinta", the spacious "Terminal Building", started on a laptop in an airport terminal building trying to capture its sense of air and space, and "Hamburg" which again revolves around intricate bassnotes but with a more distinct electronica twist than Päivärinta's dancier approach. This is the first release from Pinku Vääty on his own label. Pinku Vääty has previously been featured on labels such as Irma, Mantis and Hollow, and recieved support and acclaim from Gilles Peterson, Karen P, Atjazz and Swell Session.
