Gianandrea Pauletta (composer and organist) Born in Treviso, February 26th, 1967, he studied at the Venetian Conservatory, where he obtained his degree in Gregorian chant, Organ and Organ Composition (with the highest of the grades), and in Principal Composition. He followed courses of perfection with Maestros Radulescu and Tagliavini. He also studied conducting at the Conservatory of Bologna. He partecipated to the following contests: -National Organist Contest of Noale, winner cat. A (1985). -National Organist Contest of Noale, winner cat. B (1986). -International Organist Contest "A. Brukner" of Linz, finalist (1986). -International Organist Concert "C. Franck" of Caldaro, winner (1990). -International Contest of Composition "R. Rodio" (winner with the piece "Rocket" for organ, 2005). -4FFF Cinema Festival of Bolzano (2006),finalist with the soundtrack for the movie "Joan the Women" (produced by C. De Mille). -International Contest of Composition "D. V. Vitti" of Bari (winner with the piece for organ "Jucunda Laudatio", 2009). -International Contest "S. Cecilia" announced by the Conservatory of Rome ( reported by the piece "Res Publica" for organ, 2011). He was professor of organ and composition at the Conservatory of Cagliari (1992-94) and at the Institute of Sacred Music in Treviso (1989-2000). Owner of the organ in the Church of San Felice in Venice (1979-81), of the Cathedral of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice (1981-97), and of the Saint Maria of Nazareth Church (Carmelite barefoot) in Venice. He works as harpsichordist, with the string ensemble of Venice “Interpreti Veneziani” Is director of the chamber choir "Ensemble Vocale di Venezia".
