Mac X Slim, a product of Augusta, GA, are probably one of the most innovative groups to emerge out of Georgia. With their "streets meets intellectual" persona, they are sure to reach the masses with their message. One half of the group, Abstrak Mac, 22, brings the more creative side of the group from an intellectual standing point while Slim LeCrooks, 22, brings more of a street edge to the group; raw, uncut, and straight to the point. They met in 2005, Mac was a producer and Slim was a solo artist. They found that their chemistry was unmatched and decided that they should take this journey together, which formed Mac X Slim.
