First of all, thank you so much for taking an interest in my music! I hope you’ll indulge me for just a second as I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. Basically, I’ve been in love with music and performing for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the small town of St. Marys, PA in a household that was constantly full of music. Both my parents were music lovers and listened to everyone from the Beatles to Luciano Pavarotti, the Who to Peter Allen, Billy Joel and Elton John to the 5th Dimension, the Jackson 5 and the Four Tops to the Lettermen, the Kingston Trio to Harry Belafonte, Dave Brubeck to Judy Garland, the list is endless. Growing up in a small town, I honestly never thought I would be able to pursue my dream of making music. But, little by little, I did just that. I started with piano lessons when I was 5 or 6 and from that age, I began looking for every opportunity I could find to be onstage. As I grew older, I joined various choirs throughout elementary and high school. From there, I went on to college at Mercyhurst in Erie, PA. I started out in Criminal Justice, mainly because I didn’t think I had the talent to get into the music school. During my freshman year, I began studying with my first vocal instructor, Becky Ryan. At the beginning of my second year, I made the decision to audition for the music school. In December of 1999, I was accepted and began yet another part of this amazing journey. For the next few years, I studied voice, piano, music theory, music history, etc. until my graduation in May of 2003. After graduation, I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to my hometown of St. Marys where my college choir put on two concerts and I was blessed enough to be a soloist. Two days later, I left with the choir on the trip of a lifetime – we flew to Ireland where we stayed for a week, singing, touring, and having an amazing time. In March of 2004, I moved to Orlando, FL where I currently reside. I began working with my producer, Frank Starchak not long after I moved and spent the next year working on my cd, “Let the Girl Sing.” I am sincerely grateful for your interest in my music. Hope you enjoy the CD and thanks so much for stopping by!
