简介
Originally released on September 19, 2006, Yesterday's News marked the return of Anthony through the vehicle of a "best of" compilation. Reissued in March of 2015 with the added title of The Best of Who?, Yesterday's News is now available, for the first time, digitally. Included the radio hit Runaround. Cold As Ice, I Feel the Rain & Don’t Look Back - These songs were part of a six-song EP to be released in 1989. Inevitably, that project - Don’t Look Back - The EP - fell apart and the songs were never heard, until now. I Can’t Let You Go, Black Cat & Runaround - Recorded in 1991 and 1992, these songs were first heard on an album entitled Black Cat. In 2003 Black Cat was re-released as Life Alone. Because these songs were part of the first album I ever self-released, they are indeed special to me. Home, Life Alone & Daydream World - These songs came from the Home album, originally released in 1995. This album marked a drastic change in musical styles for me. It was also a collection of songs that would become a trademark of sorts during the following decade. Home was also re-released in 2003, as Home Again, and included three additional tracks resurrected from the original Home recording sessions. Winter’s Lost Love, What I Once Dreamed & Call of the Wild - 2003 saw the release of my first studio album in eight years, entitled Ignition. The album was released on a limited basis, but garnered several appearances and performances throughout late 2003 and early 2004. Queen of Hearts, Last Saturday (Father’s Epitaph) & For Good - Unreleased, that is, until now. These songs were recorded for the Ignition album, but did not make the final cut. However, two of the three songs have proven to be a springboard into the next phase of my journey. Perhaps the most intimate songs I have written, Last Saturday (Father’s Epitaph) and For Good are tasty hints of what’s to come. All songs written, performed and produced from 1989-2006 by Anthony Tyler for What The-?! Records Additional musicians and contributors - Carol DiSalvo, Steve Forney, Joseph Giancarelli, Allan Klimek, Peter LeVante, Howell Luthor, John Miller, Andy Peebles and Ken Smith.
