Bio Neven is frontman and songwriter of Blue Army, a musical project he had initiated in 2010. He is also a poet, visual artist, and writer. He grew up in Astoria, Queens and had lived there for most of his life, drawing inspiration from life as well as from his urban and multi-cultural surroundings. Musically, Neven exhibits a wide variety of expressions; from Chamber-Pop to New Wave, from guitar driven Post-Punk Revival to keyboard-driven Synth Pop and hints of Euro-Disco. If anything, he is a bit of a musical polyglot; never to be constrained to a single genre or musical expression. His lyrical influences are just as broad as his music. From dime-store novels to the Bible. Neven plans to continue writing songs until they nail his coffin shut.
