This CD is composed of twelve original songs, both mele (Hawaiian and English lyrics) and instrumentals, played in the Hawaiian Slack Key style. I am very pleased to be joined, on various tracks, by Ledward Kaapana (guitar), George Kahumoku, Jr. (12-string, vocal), Jeff Peterson (guitar), Kevin Brown (guitar), Peter Rowan (guitar, vocal), David Phillips (lap steel, dobro, Weissenborn guitar), Kerry Wing (ukulele, bass, vocal), Melinda Wing (ukulele, vocal) and Aidan Wing (ukulele). These songs are love songs- love for ʻohana (my family), wahi puni (favorite places), the spiritual path and cows. The CD is dedicated to my mentor and friend, Dennis Kahekilimamoikalanikeha Kamakahi.
