After 13 consecutive releases, Back To You’s sister label Back To the Future (BTTF) is back with an unparalleled 14th release to add to the catalogue of up-to-date music. The theme set from EP to EP remains clearly untouched, with the challenges to embrace new music being at the forefront of the relatively young label’s vision. And this all being showcased with their next 5 track release, ‘Clap Your Hands’ by Sinan Kaya. Istanbul born Sinan Kaya soon makes it clear with the first sound of the main track, why this EP has its name. Is it coincidence that the moody start of the track entitled ‘chain’ unravels its tone into what can only be described as a head bopping, foot tapping, hand-clapping beat? 1 minute in and the nature of the record soon becomes apparent, with a pumping sound with subtle yet focal vocals throughout keeping you in the mood to party. The next track, following from the EP title, is called ‘Clap Your Hands’. Showing us his versatility, Kaya demonstrates a mellower sound with a slower tempo but yet the driving nature of his music remains untouched. A track offering an ever-loved sound to its audience. Nottingham based Romulus Schwarz brings forward the next track on the EP. Another remix to add to the Clap Your Hands saga, this track is initiated in the melody seen in its original. With the driving beat and claps penetrating though, this provides an all round paceier feel until, and after, its original breakdown half way through. A track for any time of the evening. The fourth on the Ep is TRPLBee’s mix of Clap You Hands. This mellow tone conquers through the track to create an extremely deep, dizzy sound. With its delusional vocals entwined in its melody, this is a track to get lost to in the sunset. Finally, we end with Sinan Kaya’s original, ‘Universal Love’. Reaching through the spectrum of sound, Universal Love brings to us a natural and satisfying sound in its melody, with an underlying low that seems to carry the beat behind the scenes. About halfway in, and you have the sax that adds the love! Another one for the beach side! Creating a bit of a stir, BTTF is back on form with its latest edition to the collection. With their on-going quest for new music, they seem to have captured yet another producer with a bright future ahead.
