Founded in 1979, THE DANGERS are a seminal pop band from Southern California, whose members went on to form Cracker, The BellRays, and The Hickman-Dalton Gang. More vital today, the band continues to produce hook laden, smart, powerful songs at a blinding pace and perform them in mind blowing, transcendent live shows. Long time fan, David Lowery (Cracker) has vivid memories of The Dangers, “a local band that dared to bring the area its first real dose of punk, and rock energy. The band, fronted by Chris LeRoy, never got its full due, I am very happy The Dangers are again part of this year's Campout lineup. There was nothing like them on the local music scene," he said. "They really inspired us."
