10 True Things & A Filthy Dirty Lie is Inge Berge's second full length release of original material, following 2007's far more eclectic and introspective The Zerosum. 10 True Things & A Filthy Dirty Lie finds Berge seeking his songwriter roots, making this CD first and foremost a songwriter's album. Where The Zerosum was willfully existential and often layered and oblique, 10 True Things... is direct, poppy, melodic and accessible, while still retaining the artist’s originality and edge. Is it largely a lyric-driven album, with several songs that tell stories of humans and what happened to them.
