I've always loved singing and songwriting but struggled for a long time about whether to do this professionally. My music is about faith, hope and overcoming adversity. I'm determined through every song I write and sing, to make it mean something to me and every person listening as I believe music has the power to change people and can reach areas of our hearts and minds that other mediums can't. I achieved a significant milestone in 2012 when I released my first single "Need a little love". I used it to help raised funds for charities I support and to raise awareness of their work. People who've heard the song love its positivity and upbeat feel - "I can imagine people playing this song driving their cars on a sunny afternoon with a smile on their faces" is just one of the amazing comments people have given about the song. A few have said it reminds them of the singer Des'ree and you know what? I don't mind 'cos I used to love listening to her songs when I was growing up. With all the positive feedback I’ve received, I guess it was only a matter of time before I decided to take the next step to release more songs. I've compiled on this debut EP what I believe are some of the strongest songs I've written in the last 12 months. I’ve also re-recorded some of my early songs which I never had a chance to release officially.
