Atthis is a project of optimism. Where my last album focused on re-purposing sounds to be musical, this album focuses on painting pictures of everyday scenes that are often overlooked. There are plenty of songs about Love and Hate and Mourning, but I wanted to make songs about rolling over in bed one more time in the morning. Or coasting down a hill and feeling the wind on your face, or diving onto a bed with fresh sheets.
