John McAndrew is a singer/songwriter and piano player from St. Paul, MN. ( currently living in Nashville,TN. ) and his music has been heard around the world. His compositions including: ”Like We Were Made of Gold”, “This Little Town”, “One Little Red Wagon at a Time” and “Birmingham” have been featured at several National Events. Some recent appearances include: *The 50 th Anniversary of NATO at the Vice Presidents Residence in Washington D.C. *The Elizabeth Taylor Whitman-Walker Fund-Raiser in Washington, D.C. *The Betty Ford 25th Anniversary Alumni Banquet. *Habitat For Humanity international in Americus Georgia. *Martin Luther King Day at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. * The National Town Hall Meeting with Colin Powell. John’s music is featured in many films including: “Jesus Mary and Joey” starring Jennifer Espisito, Olympia Dukakis, Charles Durning and Stacy Keach---“Jakes Corner”, starring Richard Tyson, and Dianne Ladd. And later in 2011, the new film,”Little Red Wagon”, directed by David Aunspaugh, features John’s song, ”One Little Red Wagon at a Time”. John’s newest project, “I Am Home” is a live concert DVD and CD/album to be released in March of 2011. The one man show,”I Am Home”, has been seen in several cities and was filmed on Broadway in early 2011.
