Igor Galkin aka Igrobox (Saint Petersburg)

Was born in the Russian north in 1984. In 1998 started composing for the rappers, adding electronic elements such as trance, house, breakbeat, trip hop to rap music. It helped to go deep into electronic music structure and core. He soon refined his taste in music. Igrobox's heart and soul have been already beating in the tunes of straight rhythm sections and surging techno sound. Igrobox follows the underground esthetics and always leaves a trace of his heart and emotions in his mixes, and is always very interested in new musicians and new waves of electronic music. In 2003 moved to Siberia where started DJing, got acquainted with vinyl and began to hone skills. His way led him to Saint Petersburg, Russian heart of night life, where Igrobox elaborated his style and his own electronic music presentation. Multiplies sets at the private parties helped to reveal artistic skills and ability to communicate with people using the power of music. There is a special philosophy in his style: the endless world of ideas, esthetic approach to the world, the opinion that music is the key point that helps the world moving. Electronic music is the point where everything starts. This is the point where the cutting edge technologies and the soul meet.
