Sam Martinez grew up in Southern California and began playing the drums at 12 years of age. He then went into other instruments including the piano, organ and bass guitar. He's written probably a 100 songs in his life time and has published about 25 of them. He began playing in his father's pentecostal church and now is a Pastor of a non-denominational church in Long Beach California. The music have various feels from rock to gospel and a touch of latin influences. The Whole Heart title track has been enjoyed by many in the various performances since it's release.
