KAVA is a psychedelic rock band that lives in Chicago, Denver and California. "Prophet Bob" is their fifth full length release and traces the journey of the band's friend and musical compatriot, Bob Popp, who decided that this world was too much. The band went into Bob's studio, Gunpoint in Chicago, and rolled tape with Bob's partner Quentin Poynter with very little planned. What emerged is a haunting take on life, struggle and the darkest places that one can visit. We hope that Bob would have liked it.
