The Golden Heart Project started as a portfolio / promo pack for Kenton Scott Thompson at age 17. It developed into a short release of 6 songs he was writing and recording. After performing as singer and guitarist with live with bands since middle school, he wanted to create a short collection of his work as he was developing on the drums and guitar. Kenny has taken lessons from notable guitarists and drummers and continues to explore. The Golden Heart Studio was born and the project goal of this first release was created. A venue was found and a date set to release the EP. This collection of songs will be performed with the help of friends and current band mates Ivan Rollit (Grape Candy) Phil Lanz and Jeremiah Wrucke (Bear Your Cross), and Trent Staat (Ever Burning Bright) Kenny is currently touring with Bear Your Cross based in Ohio, USA. Kenny will soon be heading to Tennessee, USA and plans to start out at Belmont University in Nashville in the fall. Future releases and collaboration with the group are not ruled out.
