简介
Tony Reed is a Cowboy/Western singer/songwriter from Washington State. A small town boy, with a knack for horses, Tony was born and raised in Eastern Washington, spending his time either in the woods or working for local farmers and ranchers. Music has always played an important role in Tony's life. He began his musical journey performing with his mother at church functions and family gatherings. With the sounds of Marty Robbins and Jim Reeves as big influences he began to perform more on his own as he grew older. Since that time Tony has fronted several Northwest bands including The Willies, Northwest Stampede, Mended Heart, and The Outriders, as of late. The Outriders teamed Tony and song writing partner, Bruce Coe, for a sound of contemporary Country and Western music. Some notable venues Tony has performed at have been the Gorge Amphitheatre, Northwest Folklife, Yakima Folklife, Academy of Western Artists (The Gathering), Saturday Night Longhorn Rodeos, Springwood Ranch, and countless other venues across the Northwest. After great success in Europe, as well as here in the States, with their debut album "Wonderin' Which Way to Go", Tony decided to expand and work more in the Cowboy Western field. Writing more about every day ranch life and that precious little moment observed or experienced from the back of a horse, which make the genre so interesting. This coupled with his new solo release "Rustlers' Wind", and his duet with Kip Calahan Tony looks forward to great 2005 and 2006. If you are looking for a fresh new sound and face in classic western music, or new classics in the making, Tony's easy to listen to voice can fill that bill for you.
