简介
Bosson, Staffan Olsson, has experienced much more than many other Swedish popstars. One in a million was chosen to be the lead music theme for the movie Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock. She personally called him up and invited him to the set in Austin, Texas. The song gave him a Golden Globe nomination and he competed against Sting, Bob Dylan and Garth Brooks. Standing on the red carpet at the award-ceremony, he realized how far his music had taken him. The hard work as a writer and producer finally paid off. And what a result! One in a million became a top 10 hit in Europe, South Africa and Asia and was number 1 in Norway, Switzerland, Singapore and South Africa; he toured with Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears and performed at different festivals around USA and the rest of the world. The biggest one was at Dodger Stadium with artists like Lenny Kravitz, Enrique Eglesias, Marc Anthony, Goo Goo Dolls among others. As a songwriter he has written songs for Amy Grant and the famous guitarist Al Di Miola. Even though Bosson is an artist who's songs were frequently played on Swedish radio, he always kept a pretty low profile in Sweden. The situation abroad has however been a lot different. Bosson has achieved huge success with a number of songs, collected several awards and toured in countries like China, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine, Baltic, Belarus and Kazakhstan. He recently recorded one of his songs (in Russian) with Russian superstar Lolita. He has also performed with Dima Bilan who competed in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and is a huge star in Russia. 2008 he won the prize as best international artist in Ukraine and after that he took some time off and later started to work on a new album in Sweden. 2011 he performed as the main artist in the Miss Russia contest on the biggest TV-channel and 2013 Miss Ukraine. New years 2013 eve he was invited to participate in a huge N.Y.E show in China together with Swedish artists Robert Wells, Loreen, LaGaylia Frazier, Rockstar Glenn Hughes and lots of big Asian artists. The TV-show was seen by more than 100 million people. Almost the whole album, (13 songs), has been written and produced by Bosson and his partner Tomas Skyldeberg at Apollo-4 studios in Gothenburg and some additional production in L.A. The albumrelease is set to 17th of June and will also include 2 bonustracks with project Apollo-4 in which he works with famous rapartist BabyBash from Los Angeles.
