The album goes through the journey of Ashton as a boy trying to find himself and reevaluating his life. Moving fast and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel, Kent takes a hiatus and ends up in the Bay Area where he learns a lot about himself. Where Ashton finds himself evolving into a man, a father, and partner. Hiatus features production from Reklaws, Vybe Beats, and Pablo Productions. Kent kept the features minimal by adding Chris Quality and King Reegz to the party anthem, “Want To.”
