Romel Joseph was Haiti's most renown Juilliard-trained violinist, teacher and servant to his community. He was the face of resilience, courage, and strength who advocated the belief of “never give up no matter what," especially after Haiti's catastrophic 2010 earthquake. Mr. Joseph's legacy continues through his founding organizations, The New Victorian School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and Friends of Music Education for Haiti, based in Miami, Florida.
