Ben Zaidi writes and sings in a very contained world. Recorded and produced by himself in his bedroom, his songs unfold with an intimacy and emotional purity that might only be attainable by an adolescent left alone. Ben, who grew up playing piano and guitar, taught himself to arrange and produce music, as well as how to write and play bass and drum parts to fill in his songwriting with complex arrangements of classic rock instrumentation, lush synthesizers, and hip-hop percussion. He wrote these songs when he was 21 years old.
