Years refining his awareness of emotion and dance, has led Bendik Baksaas' years of refining his awareness of emotion and dance have led him to find his unique voice in techno. A veteran of heavy metal, Norwegian folk music and jazz, he is currently devoted to bringing ancient viking traditions to the night club. As a live performer, Baksaas delights in the serendipity of being present in the experience of sound. His productions focus on holistic tracks where every detail is essential to the groove. Call and response, action and reaction, a beat with silence in between, is the inherent rhythm in everything. Baksaas examines this phenomenon in music with playful attention.

Flex Core is a word that describes one of the most basic movements of rave dance. Shoulders mirroring the hips, swinging from left to right. The power of grounding and the flow of walking – simultaneously. This dance inspires Baksaas in both life and music. The balance of driving drums and emotive melodies in an uplifting wave, expressing the current. The album came into being through playful modular trips and tenaciously developing the in-the-box processing of drums.
