This is one of the last albums to be recorded at Blue House Studios before CEO Gary Sanders was convicted and sentenced to twenty (20) years in the Dept. of Corrections. This is the first time ever being released. It was said to have been the album that would get us to the pinnacle of the rap game bacc then due to the combination of artist that were a part of this compilation. "G"Town Records at the time had their own production company as well as video production. It was the independent label everyone wanted to be apart of with exceptional talent they were able to bring in their own sound known as SW(Southwest Music) which you can hear a lot of artist rapping about to date. The first ever release of the group "Gulf Coast Clicc" straight from Houston. The group last heard from before they headed to Iraq for war were enlisted in the Marine Corp. and chose to serve our country. Their talent on the mic will show in their songs "Country Boyz" and "Don't Mess wit Texas". Tip Toe who was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder would eventually be found innocent and return to his native land of Cali. He was a vibrant 17 year old at the time of these recordings. Ivy League also from Gardena Cali was very instrumental as he was the second person to sign to our "G"Town imprint. His lyrical content very deserving of his position in the rap game. Last heard he served some time in Cali. Big G Nutt's incarceration would bring the disbandment of these artist but this album will forever be a big part of this label and we want you to enjoy the music that they worked so hard to get out to you.
