Having composed numerous films scores and television series, award winning American composer John Coda approaches the classic Western film genre from both a traditional and inspiringly fresh new angle. This orchestral score is coupled with traditional folk instruments including solo fiddle, acoustic guitars, solo classical flute, and Native American flute, interwoven in "Tower Watch", "I'm Sorry" and "Healing".  The experimental fusion of Native American percussion, and a bowed Appalachian dulcimer creates a rhythmic texture in tracks such as "The Hunt" and "Roger's Tower". 

The main title track is an instrumental arrangement based on the Stephen Foster American folk classic "Hard Times Come Again No More", masterfully performed by Nashville tour fiddler Kurt Baumer.  And featured vocal artist Quincy Coleman soulfully performs the haunting ballad "This Time", based on the score's "Forgiveness" theme.
