This is my eighteenth solo album, recorded in Raglan N.Z. over the last couple of months and featuring a variety of my songs and styles from solo performances like the title track (which has been a hit for Robin Pecknold of The Fleet Foxes) to songs like Barcelona and Lucky Old Tree which feature local musicians Redgie Valente(bass) and Rene Andre(guitar).Other numbers include Ed Deane ( an instrumental homage to the great irish guitarist) and Belle Francaise; a song sung in French with my daughter Lora Thompson playing rythmn guitar.There's a poem by Bertolt Brecht that I've set to music, and a bonus live track, my version of John Lee Hooker's 'One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer'.Hope you like it, Folks.
