简介
This music is very soulful, inspired by singers like Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, James Ingram and of course the master Nat King Cole. This music is very inspired by memories of growing up in Detroit, during the great music era of Motown Records. "Mike Shockley" is not new to singing around town, including downtown fireworks spectaculars, and Detroit's finest casinos, not to mention TV and Radio. Mike has collaborated with Producer Eric Di Berardo, who has worked with some of the top musicians and artists in the world.. Enjoy this great production to forth coming cd album "Memory Lane" Introducing: Michael Shockley A native Detroiter, and up and coming artist. Sincerely Eric Di Berardo Producer Edbstudios, com 586-751-8616 Producer Credits: Eric started the guitar at the of age 3, and already started teaching and playing professionally at the of 12, following in the footsteps and performing witho his father, renown guitarist, Eligio. Eric in his own rite has achieved so much in his many years of playing the guitar. His showcase talent included, performing on many radio, TV, and recording and many other Detroit artists till end of 1976. In his early years, Eric followed his father on band jobs many styles of classic Italian and Latin music. Practicing a minimum of 6-8 hours a day, brought Eric to a level of study of Jazz guitar at Oakland University, with instructor Ron English and then later to study in California, with the best of the best in Hollywood, California. Also good friends with the late Tommy Tedesco well known for the guitarist on the Godfather Movie, as well as other famous guitarists. The list of actors, and actresses Eric has performed for would be too numerous to list here, but among the highlights of his career, Eric performed for actor Al Pacino (The Godfather). Of course the music was the music of (The Godfather) the movie. He then formed a band in California, (Westwood) and continued to play for many movie star cast parties. He eventually opened his own recording studio, EDB Audio and Video Recording Studios in Valencia, California, (just north of Hollywood) a 20 year studio business. Again it was only the beginning as he produced and engineered recordings with Grammy Award musicians such as Sheryl Crow, John Patittucci (Chick Correa jazz bassist), musicians from the Kenny Loggins band, just to name just a few. The studio had much history in its own as artists wanted to record on a special multi-track recorder Eric bought from Muscle Shoals that had a rich artist track history on it “from artist like Andy Williams to Lynrd Skynard. He still owns this historical machine! Eric has also worked with the band members of the late Elvis Presley….the list goes on and on..
