Next release is from Psyoung! A new Greek talented 'psytrance' soul. Psyoung aka Kostas Tsiakmakis, a young and promising producer based in Thessaloniki/Greece, has created his first debut EP and presents us two previously unreleased 'cocktails'. First track is a strong psy-prog offbeat morning classic that has the additional weight needed for the dancefloor to move and wiggle just about everyone (Captain). Second track is an electro-break beat chill out ambient interlude, with great vocal samples that will fascinate you (No Image). Kostas in his early age was influenced by many styles and genres, mostly from Hip Hop and in 2006 he started to produce his first 'underground' productions. Meanwhile he was studding the trumpet and for seven years he was part of the 'Greek Philharmonic Orchestra' of Thessaloniki! With this new fresh package Psyoung has artfully mastered the fusion of tight with streamlined arrangements, supplemented by light atmospherics, rich effect sounds, deep vibes, electrical vocals and 'straight to the heart' basslines. Capturing the essence of percussive grooves encapsulated by alternating trance sections and building breaks, the crisp production character contributes to the effortless feel of Psyoung!
