Qamil (pronounced "Camille"), is an American vocalist, songwriter, community activist, published author and CEO of Soul D**e Entertainment. Qamil's musical roots run deep as the niece of Norma Jean Wright, the former lead vocalist of the 70s disco and R&B band, Chic. In 2013, Qamil established an independent record label, Soul D**e Music. In 2014 and 2015 she received nominations Best Female Vocalist at the Ohio Hip Hop Awards. With an undeniable determination and hunger for success and a multitude of talents, Qamil is geared to take the entertainment world by storm. She is truly an mogul in the making.
