Steve Moore (Opossum) of the band, Tree of Life, is a songwriter first and foremost with a love of words and stories and a deep connection with the spirit of Nature. Living on a nature preserve, on the banks of the Scioto River in Ohio, organic trance-folk tales seem to flow out with the current of life itself, touching on everything from home town life in blue-collar, rust belt factories and streets to a blend of hippie spirituality, tree hugging and animal loving philosophy, and an artful examination of self and humanity. His first album, Without Warning, with guests such as Gurf Morlix and others, is a full on, full course meal of stories. This is a collection of some of his best work, with 17 songs and lots of surprises. Now, with his wife, Kristi Sue Moore, on keyboards, bass, harmony vocals and flute, they have formed "Tree of Life" and continue to deepen their sound, broaden their view of the world around them, and tell their stories of life.
