Critics are already saying it is Mr. Qwes's finest work to date! The Red Light District is the sophomore album of Mr. Qwes. The album explores the topics of love, lust and fantasy in a unique way all the while being very experimental in it's production and sound. While the music and production is mystifying and fantastical, the content is actually quite raw, honest, witty and even satirical at times. This project will bring you through a range of emotion and experiences. At certain moments you will want to sit back and listen and other times you will want to get up and dance but this work never loses its intimacy at any point.

Production Notes:

As with any Mr. Qwes project, Qwes had a very hands on role in the writing and production of this album. Every song on the album was written by Mr. Qwes. Qwes also either produced or co-produced seven of the eleven tracks. Leaveil "LA" Armstrong also co-produced most of the tracks as well as producing the single, "Can't Wait." Kyle "DJ Kalisemo" Lawrence produced three of the tracks on this album. Red Light District also features live musicianship from Connecticut artists and even some duets.
