We kick off 2014 with a new, promising collaboration of two very talented italian fellows. Marco Effe, a sublime DJ known for his releases and tracks on well-known imprints like Cécille, Break New Soil, Sci-Tech and Cocoon has teamed up with his old friend and highly gifted pianist and composer Francesco Carone. While Marco developed his profile in the electronic music circus, Francesco took the traditional route and studied at the Jam Music Academy of Lucca. Several concerts, first in Bratislava and then in Berlin in the Olympiastadium for Light Arts Projects Festivals, were ensued by a tour through Germany. Subsequently, he continued his studies at the professional MAD School in Italy. The main track of this release is the first collaboration by Marco and Francesco and is called "Canto D'Amore". It is a deeply moving and very classic tune based on a piano solo composed by Francesco. Our newest signing Few Nolder welcomes himself to Connaisseur with a great remix for "Canto D'Amore", giving the title a more bouncy and balearic approach. The release is rounded up with "Path In The Shadow" a wonderful little house-cut which transports the feeling of old Prescription releases, and the piano-solo of "Canto D'Amore".
