Stephen Akin Adetumbi is an singer, songwriter, and designer residing in Atlanta, GA. Born to a Nigerian father and Grenadian mother, Stephen began singing at an early age at home with his family. He continued to develop his craft as he matriculated through highschool and college through classical vocal training, participation in classical traveling choirs, and singing and writing music with his band. Stephen Akin has since shared his vocal gifts with audiences around the globe and with thousands of listeners through social media channels. He has also made appearances on several internationally broadcasted Christian television networks. His unique style is draws from a wide variety of legendary vocal artists and songwriting approaches across different genres. Among those inspiring Stephen's music are R&B and Soul titans like Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, and Donnie Hathaway; Gospel legends like Fred Hammond, Larnelle Harris, and the gospel vocal group Accapella; and Pop artists like Mariah Carey, Coldplay, and the Carpenters.
